ICAC

International Cocker Agility Competition (ICAC) 13-15.11.2026

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development

The ICAC is an annual agility competition exclusively for Cocker Spaniels, hosted each year in a different European country. We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 edition will take place in Legnica, Poland.

(Please note: The “Polish Open SOFT” competition will be taking place simultaneously in the same hall).

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to both English and American Cocker Spaniels.
  • Dogs must be registered with an official cynological organization (such as the FCI, The Kennel Club, AKC, CKC, or others).
  • Dogs must be at least 18 months old to compete.
  • The participation of docked dogs is allowed.

Competition Format & Rules

  • Class Level: Runs will be held as an Open Class (A1, A2, and A3 running together). The course difficulty will be set at a maximum of the A2 level.

  • Runs & Judges: The ICAC consists of 4 individual runs (2x Agility, 2x Jumping). To ensure variety, each of the 4 individual runs will be judged by a different judge (4 judges in total).

  • Schedule Overview:

    • Friday: 2 Individual Runs.
    • Saturday: 2 Individual Runs + The ICAC Saturday Evening Final.
    • Sunday: Team Runs. (Note: Team runs are not a direct part of the ICAC classification).
  • Finals Qualification: A minimum of the top 30% of dogs (based on accumulated placements) will qualify for the Saturday Final. The organizer reserves the right to increase this percentage after entries are closed.

  • Important Note: Entries are only accepted for the full 3-day event.

Height Categories & Classification

The ICAC will be divided into two main height classes:

  • Small (S)

  • Medium & Intermediate (M + IN): These heights will have a combined classification. However, Medium dogs will jump 40 cm, and Intermediate dogs will jump 50 cm.

    • Exception: If more than 10 Intermediate Cocker Spaniels are entered, they will receive their own separate classification.
    • Sunday Teams: Intermediate Cockers participating in Sunday’s Team Runs will run in the standard Intermediate height class.
